Cute Summer skirt hot off the presses!

I just finished this skirt.  I think it is really great for summer.  I really cannot take credit for the whole thing, I really JUST finished it.  See, my co- worker cut it out and started sewing it when she realized it was in her daughter’s size not her size.  She did not think her daughter would like it so she gave it to me to finish.  I cut the waist down about ¾ in to make it bigger and then just put an invisible zipper in and hemmed it.  It is 100 % cotton voile with embroidery and it is lined with the matching solid voile.  Just goes to show you that someone’s “oh shit” is another person’s treasure.
